A weekend of laughter with Emily
Greetings from Granada! I can not imagine that as I write this, I’m over a month into my semester overseas… Generally the times have felt lengthy, however as I sit right here penning this, I’m reminded that point is shifting so shortly, and I’m already 5 weeks into my program.
This previous weekend, I used to be blessed to welcome my buddy Emily for a go to to Granada. Emily and I met by way of our involvement within the worship workforce at Hope, and I cherish the various laughs and reminiscences we’ve shared throughout the partitions of Dimnent Chapel. And but, this semester, we’re each learning in locations far-off from Hope Faculty and the rose window. Emily spends most of her days studying and honing her French in Nantes, France, whereas I spend my days right here in Granada, Spain, talking plenty of Spanish.

We spent our weekend wandering the streets of Granada, consuming tapas at new locations, and strolling up plenty of hills, all whereas absorbing some beautiful sunshine!
