All Canadian everlasting residence (PR) candidates will now be required to submit biometrics. This coverage change is efficient as of June 14, 2023.
In a return to pre-pandemic coverage, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) now requires the submission of biometrics as a part of a PR software even when the applicant has beforehand submitted their biometrics for a brief residence (research, work) allow up to now.
Notice: Previous to the coverage change on June 14, IRCC didn’t mandate the resubmission of biometrics for PR candidates who already submitted them as a part of a brief resident software within the 10 years prior.
What are Biometrics?
